Koden's New Marine Radars for the Professional

Koden's new MDC-2900 and MDC-2900P series radars have been released

These radars feature sophisticated new signal processing technology which provides superior target discrimination, a steady image, even for unstable targets, thus supporting safer navigation.

CFAR function, Real-time smooth head-up and Interswitch function are also superior features. Both of the MDC-2900/2900P series have 19", high-resolution SXGA color LCD with anti-reflective coatings. For the MDC-2900 series (non-IMO Radar), the user can select 6 kW, 12 kW or 25 kW of power with a 4-ft or 6-ft open antenna and MAP overlay with C-MAP NT+ or NT MAX chart.

The MDC-2900P series comply with new IMO regulation MSC192(79) and meet SOLAS carriage requirements for ships up to 10,000 gross tones and users can select 12 kW or 25 kW of power with a 4-ft, 6-ft or 9-ft open antenna.

A black box type is also available for both series. (IMO approval for black box type has been in progress as of July 2009)
